Our team is committed to providing the highest standards of professional practices in our services and health and safety protections as we adapt to the new normal after Covid-19. Although we are returning to doing what we love, things are going to look and feel a little different.
Before booking an appointment, please ask yourself the following questions:
• Have you tested positive for COVID-19 that you have not fully recovered from?
• Are you experiencing any of the following symptoms? *(Not related to a previously documented health concern) a. fever (i.e. chills, sweats) b. cough or worsening of a previous cough c. sore throat d. headache e. shortness of breath* f. muscle aches g. sneezing h. nasal congestion/runny nose i. hoarse voice j. diarrhea k. unusual fatigue l. loss of sense of smell or taste m. red, purple or blueish lesions on the feet, toes, or fingers without clear cause
• Have you traveled outside of Nova Scotia within the last 14 days?
• Have you had unprotected close contact with individuals who have a confirmed or presumptive diagnosis of COVID-19 (e.g. individuals exposed without appropriate PPE in use)?
If you answers yes to any of the above questions or if you become symptomatic at any point prior to your scheduled appointment, please postpone booking your treatment until you are well and symptom free.
Please also use the 811 on-line self-assessment https://811.novascotia.ca if you are unwell the day of the appointment and only arrive if you are told you do NOT need to be tested for COVID-19.
If you answer NO, you can book your treatments. The day before your appointment, you will be sent a pre-screening survey that you MUST fill out. If the pre-screening survey is not completed your appointment will be cancelled and you may be required to pay the cancellation fee, which insurance does not cover.
Arriving For Your Appointment
In order to maintain appropriate social distancing, we ask that you arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment and wait outside the front door where your therapist will greet you. If there are others waiting, please ensure you practice the 6 feet distance guideline outside of the studio. Our therapists and staff will assist you in social distancing once inside.
You are required to wear a mask upon entering the studio, and for parts of your treatment. We wear a mask to protect you, you wear a mask to protect us. You will also be directed to the washrooms to wash your hands upon your arrival and also after your treatment. We kindly request using contactless debit tap payments, etransfer and online through your Jane account.
Booking Your Follow-up Treatments
Following your treatment. we encourage swift payments at the desk and no lingering in the common areas to reduce the number of people present and maintain physical distancing. We strongly encourage you pre-book your appointments online, from home, in order to minimize time within the studio outside of your treatment time. Online booking is available 24-7 and calling the studio during business hours Monday to Thursday is another option.
