1/4 cup maple syrup (Sugar Moon farm is a local favourite!)
2 tbsps soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
pinch of black pepper to taste
1 lb salmon fillets
1. In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, mustard, turmeric and salt and pepper.
2. Place salmon in a shallow glass baking dish and coat with the maple mixture. Cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, turning once.
3. Set oven to broil.
4. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until easily flaked with a fork.
5. Serve with your favourite sides and enjoy!!
