Reflexology

What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a based on the principle that there are reflexes in the body that correspond and map to other parts, organs and glands in the body and applying pressure to these reflexive points will restore and maintain the body's natural balance and ability to facilitate healing.

During stress and illness, the body's systems can become blocked, and by stimulating specific points, your Reflexologist can open up these blockages and optimize your state of health and balance. Reflexology can be applied to different areas of the body, with the client needing not remove any clothing. Our Reflexologist practices on the feet only.
Who Can Benefit From It?
As the whole body can be affected by treatment, this treatment can be helpful for many.  Some of the common conditions are:
Chronic Pain

Anxiety and depression

Sleep conditions

Sinus problems

Hormonal imbalances

Digestive problems

Stress and tension

Cancer support
What to Expect
Reflexology treatments are created specifically for each individual client. After reviewing your health history and symptom picture, your Reflexologist will create a treatment plan. You will be positioned comfortably on a massage table, fully clothed and enjoy a calming atmosphere while your therapist focuses on your feet. By applying various amounts of pressure to the points, your therapist will monitor your comfort level and invite relaxation as part of treatment. Sessions are typically from 30-90 minutes. Your therapist will offer recommendations for selfcare and further treatment options at the end.
