Our therapists are here for you. Their schedule is their income, and as service-based practitioners, unlike employees, they depend on the services rendered to get paid. This is why service-based clinics and studios create a policy for late cancellations and missed appointments, otherwise known as "no shows". Having a reasonable amount of time to acknowledge a cancellation allows our therapists to contact clients waiting to get in, or others seeking care in the short term. In our business, 24 hours is considerable reasonable.
Our policy is simple.
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel appointments. Cancellations can be done through your online account in order to ensure it is timely. Cancellations made by email, phone or facebook may not be met within the appropriate timeline. In the case of medical emergencies or inclement weather fees may be waived. All other cancellations are subject to a 50%-100% service fee. Please note that insurance DOES NOT cover cancellation fees.
Missed appointments without notice or contact will be charged 100% of the fee of the service booked. We require credit cards to ensure the security of this policy. Your card will not be charged without notice, giving you the opportunity to pay alternatively. In essence, the policy exists to deter repeated cancellations and missed appointments. Please be aware that insurance DOES NOT cover missed appointments, these are to be paid by the client in full.
We pride ourselves on the connections we make with our clients and always respect the challenges that life can bring. We are also very proud of the years of mutual respect our community has offered us in return. We appreciate the respect our clients have for our time and our ability to earn our income doing something we love.
Direct Billing Made For You...
We are happy to offer direct billing to eligible private health plans. It is important that you understand the details of your policy, for example, if there are any referral requirements, deductible, co-pays and maximum benefits so please review your plans ahead of scheduling your treatment. If you have questions about your policy you will need to contact your provider. Insurance billing is a courtesy we offer, however in times when your plan does not cover your treatment, payment is your responsibility and is due at the time of your treatment.
Below are the providers we can typically direct bill for, if your policy allows payment assignment. If your policy does not allow us to bill, you will see the link for you to copy paste into your browser to easily set up manual claim submission for your eligible reimbursement.
